My journey to helping you

Hello, I’m Ali, a holistic nurse practitioner, sound healer, and yoga teacher with over a decade of nursing experience.

My journey has led me to specialize in helping individuals heal the root cause of illness while promoting a healthy and wholesome lifestyle. Having overcome my own battles with depression and anxiety, I understand firsthand the challenges these conditions pose and how the conventional medicine can fail. In 2019 referred by my therapist I was encouraged to see a psychiatrist as I had been in therapy for several years and was not seeing any resolution to the darkness that I felt. Upon meeting the psychiatrist he handed me a piece of paper that was a questionnaire for depression symptoms. After completing the questionnaire, he told me “you have depression” and handed me two bottles of antidepressants and how to take them and to return in 6 weeks. I was in shock that he didn’t take not even a moment to ask me how I developed depression in the first place. That was the day I took my health into my own hands and began the journey to holistic healing. Through my own journey of searching for a cure I found that it is through multiple modalities that we can find healing. Not only did I find freedom and joy through the process, I was led to experience the practices of my ancestors.

Over the past 10 years I worked as a critical care nurse at level II Trauma Center and more recently as nurse practitioner in family medicine. In 2020, I began serving in a busy clinic working 60-80 hours per week. In this type of system, you only are given 15 minutes per visit but I found myself disregarding the time and pouring into people spending 30-40 minutes coaching them on their health and always running behind and trying to catch up on my work. Day in and day out I found myself exhausted and frustrated and seeing that there had to be another way. I saw that the way this system works was not for me as I was not able to do what I know I came to do on this planet and that is to help people heal. Western medicine, although vital in some cases, only allows for a quick consultation and typically ends a visit with a prescription for a pill. This way of practicing does not align with my values and I could see that my patients needed time, attention, and guidance. So I chose to step away from that practice and create a practice that embodies a holistic approach to healing that honors the whole person.

My mission? To equip my clients with transformative tools and skills that encompass mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual balance. To support the whole person in learning how to heal themselves.
